The strength of the Dutch economy is confirmed in recent studies which indicate that the Netherlands is expected to suffer less and recover quicker from the consequences of the financial crisis than other European countries (Economic Forecast European Committee 2010). Due to the European crisis the GBP decline is expected to be 0.5% for 2012.
