European Court of Justice put a line through the Privacy Shield

7 October 2020 - The European Court of Justice has declared the Privacy Shield invalid. The Privacy Shield was a basis for the exchange of personal data between organisations in the European Union and the United States. Because this agreement has been declared invalid by the Court of Justice, it has become less easy for European organisations to have personal data processed in the United States.
