Establish early agreement on verification of subsidy conditions
4 January 2022 - Civil society organisations depend in many cases on subsidies and contributions. Naturally, conditions are attached to these in the context of accounting for and auditing the expenditure. Unfortunately, in reality we often notice that these conditions are unclear or that the costs of the audit are not in proportion to the subsidy or contribution. By discussing this with your accountant at an early stage, insight can be gained into this and, where necessary, the conditions can be clarified in consultation with the subsidy provider.
