SBR Assurance, what is going to change for you?

Starting from 1 January 2018, medium-sized companies are obliged to publish their financial statements for filing purposes with the Chamber of Commerce in SBR. Medium-sized companies are organisations with fewer than 250 employees, a maximum annual turnover of € 40 million or an annual balance total of ≤ € 20 million. Is your company part of a group, the head of which qualifies as a large enterprise or is quoted on the stock exchange? In such case, the SBR obligation will only apply for you as of financial year 2019.

As an entrepreneur, you are personally responsible for depositing the financial statements for filing purposes with the Chamber of Commerce. Therefore, the introduction of the SBR obligation will require you to make an investment in order to be able to file your financial statements for filing purposes in the correct manner.
