Why do transaction multiples run so?

14 November 2019 - An important aspect when buying or selling a company is the purchase price. The purchase price is the point at which the seller and buyer meet, but how is this point established? It is a matter of negotiation in which both the buyer and seller both have their own subjective view of the value of the company.
