Mazars reinforces partner team with Maurice Quaedvlieg

4 January 2018 - Maurice G.W. Quaedvlieg, MSc (1972), chartered accountant, accounting consultant and MBA, was appointed partner at Mazars Accountants and Tax Advisers on 1 January 2018. Quaedvlieg will focus on expanding Mazars’ Audit and Assurance practice and Not-for-profit practice.

About Maurice Quaedvlieg

Quaedvlieg started his career in 1996 at Deloitte where he progressed to Director in the Audit and Assurance practice. He has extensive audit experience with Not-for-profit clients, both in the Netherlands and abroad. Among his clients are fundraising, and cultural institutions and organisations in development aid. Quaedvlieg has a comprehensive network in this sector and he is convinced of its opportunities. He also supervised activities in the field of subsidy compliance (subsidy accountability audits and interim compliance activities, in particular for European subsidies and regulations through the Netherlands Enterprise Agency - Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland).

The public interest is the central focus in Quaedvlieg's work. He is aware of his position in society as an external accountant and is committed to fulfilling this public role in a high-quality manner. In addition to his work as an accountant, he is also active in board positions with the Netherlands Red Cross Society (Nederlandse Rode Kruis - Haaglanden District and the Dorgelo Energie Rampenfonds which is affiliated with the Red Cross) and Young Africa International. He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Theater Ins Blau in Leiden.
