Mazars strengthens tax practice with Roland de Jonge

6 february 2018 - Roland J. de Jonge (1973) entered into service on 5 February 2018 as Director at Mazars Accountants and Tax Advisers. De Jonge will focus on further expanding the tax practice and the sector Technology, Media & Telecom of Mazars in Amsterdam.

In 1998, Roland started his career at PwC, where he advanced to Senior Tax Manager. In PwC's tax practice, he was involved in consulting on the structuring of international expansion, private wealth, property, IP and financing. In addition, he was responsible for consulting director / major shareholders in (international) structuring of acquisitions, financing and transfer pricing issues.

Since 2012, he has been ultimately responsible for the tax practice as Head of Tax at Kop of Munt, a medium-sized accountancy firm with a focus on the creative industry. His activities included consulting on management participations, changes in the (shareholder) structure, international expansion, acquisitions, structuring of various activities, business succession and consulting director / major shareholders.

Roland has extensive experience in consulting family businesses and director / major shareholders. Among others, he has worked for clients in the creative industry, such as advertising agencies, media companies, architectural firms and cultural institutions. He has an extensive network in this sector and is convinced of its opportunities.

Next to his activities as a tax specialist, he has been active in the board of Stichting CineFonds since 2015, of which he is also a co-founder.
