15 juli 2020 – De Wet tegemoetkomingen loondomein (Wtl), die mensen met een zwakke positie op de arbeidsmarkt moet helpen, wordt anders ingericht. Zo wordt onder meer het loonkostenvoordeel voor jongeren (LKV jongeren) geïntroduceerd, dat in plaats komt van het Lage-inkomensvoordeel (LIV) en het jeugd-LIV (JLIV). De wijzigingen van de Wtl zullen naar verwachting op 1 januari 2022 in werking treden.

10 juli 2020 – In meerdere EU-lidstaten is de btw-behandeling van colocatiediensten niet eenduidig. Op 2 juli 2020 oordeelde het Europese Hof van Justitie (HvJ) dat de colocatiediensten die de Finse onderneming A Oy verricht niet kwalificeren als de verhuur van vastgoed of andere vastgoeddiensten. Dit arrest biedt een mooie verduidelijking voor de praktijk.
