Brexit: EU - UK trade sale looks still far away

30 June 2020 - Since February 1, 2020, the United Kingdom is no longer part of the EU. Until December 31, 2020 there is a transitional period in which, in principle, nothing changes. Until then, the United Kingdom and the EU want to make new trade agreements that will take effect from January 1, 2021. However, after several rounds of negotiations, there is still little optimism that a deal can be closed.
