Mazars strengthens partner team with Marc Engel

5 FEBRUARY 2019 – Marc Engel (1968) has been appointed partner at Mazars Accountants and Advisers on 1 February 2019. In this new position, Engel will focus on the expansion and development of Digital Transformation & Technology consulting. This will provide Mazars with an opportunity to further reinforce its IT Consultancy practice. And as a result of Engel's consultancy expertise in the Transport & Logistics sector, that practice will be further reinforced as well.

About Marc Engel

Engel has two passions in his professional career: Digital Transformation & Technology and Transport & Logistics. He has worked in these areas as a consultant, and in leadership roles, for 25 years. Engel began his career in 1993 at Capgemini, after which he held consultancy and leadership positions at Deloitte Consulting (2008-2013) and PwC Consulting (2013-2018).

His expertise centres on the impact of new technology and digital developments in driving and enabling organisational changes and transformations. Such change requires that companies consider new (digital) business strategies and models; that they think about changing organisations, processes and people; and that they evaluate the use of available data, the choice of technology platforms and solutions such as the cloud. In the Transport & Logistics sector, new trends and developments strongly impact the strategy, operations, back office and technology of organisations within the sector. Engel has vast experience as a consultant with this kind of change related (and other) projects.
