Training and work experience
Aron holds a postgraduate degree from Nyenrode Business University's registered accountant programme. In addition, he has taken a number of corporate finance and leadership programmes at such institutions as the Amsterdam Institute of Finance, Insead Business School (France) and Columbia Business School (United States).
Aron started out as an accountant and has accrued more than 20 years of experience with Big Four firms. He has been active as a transaction consultant since 1999.
With Mazars' takeover of Ten Kate Huizinga on 1 January 2018, Aron became a partner/shareholder at Mazars Netherlands.
In both 2015 and 2016, Aron was a finalist for the Merger & Acquisition Awards' Acquisition Consultant of the Year Award. In 2017, Aron was a finalist for the Dutch Corporate Finance Association (DCFA)'s Deal of the Year Award. In 2019, Aron and his team won the DCFA Deal of the Year Award.
Aron has managed hundreds of mergers and acquisitions at both the national and international level. He has worked for directors/principal shareholders, private equity firms, management teams and both national and international enterprises.
His speciality is the acquisition and sale of enterprises and all related national and international aspects.
An active Rotarian, Aron is an initiator and founding member of Rotary Club Enschede Kwartier and served as its first president. He is also a member and former chairman of the DCFA, an associate member of the Netherlands Venture Capital Association (NVP) and a member of the Netherlands Institute of Chartered Accountants (NBA).
