Dion Plouvier Director
Personal quote / vision
I have a focus on the public sector. I am proud of the social relevance of our public sector clients and the way in which we contribute to this through our services. I connect with my clients by showing that we understand the client and know the sector. I contribute to our social role by promoting transparent reporting, trust and responsibility. By doing this, I show that Mazars is valuable and distinctive. Due to the unique and sometimes difficult conditions under which public organisations operate, the political/administrative environment, the multitude of regulations and the need to be accountable to society in a transparent manner, working as an accountant in this sector requires specialist sector knowledge in all areas. My motto: Connecting - from a practice that is at the heart of society.

Subsidy audit and assurance services to profit and not-for-profit organisations. In addition to carrying out subsidy audits, this also includes the interim testing of the project administration against subsidy provisions, so that it becomes clear at an early stage that the requirements of the regulations have been met, and adjustments can be made in time if this proves necessary.

In my role as a public accountant, I work for foundations and associations, charities, cultural institutions, interest groups, subsidised institutions, equity funds, knowledge and research institutes and independent administrative bodies.
