The corona recovery package will not be renewed
September 3, 2021 - As of October 1, 2021, the (outgoing) cabinet will permanently stop the generic support measures that have helped the Dutch economy through the corona crisis as much as possible in the past year and a half.

Update: NOW 3.0
22 January 2021 - On 21 January 2021, changes to NOW 3.0, as part of the Support and Recovery Package, have been announced. NOW 3.0 runs from 1 October 2020 in 3 periods of 3 months until 1 July 2021. The application period for the first period has expired. For the second period, NOW 3.0 can be requested from 15 February 2021, with retroactive effect to 1 January 2021.

16 June 2020 - The government wants to protect jobs and incomes during the coronacrisis. One of the measures taken is the Emergency Employment Bridging Fund (Noodfonds Overbrugging Werkgelegenheid - NOW), an allowance towards wage costs for companies that are currently losing turnover.
